Info
James Arthur plays Scarborough Open Air Theatre on 3 July 2026. The Middlesbrough singer first broke through in 2012 after winning The X Factor, following a run of self-released tracks, and has since shaped a voice-led pop that draws on soul, R&B and acoustic writing, with flashes of rock and hip-hop. His debut album landed in 2013, followed by Back from the Edge (2016), You (2019) and It’ll All Make Sense in the End (2021), where the guitars step up and the production tightens, then Bitter Sweet Love (2024) and Pisces (2025). Along the way, he’s worked with Rudimental, Sigala, Anne-Marie and Machine Gun Kelly.
On stage, Arthur moves from stripped-back ballads to more driven songs, keeping the vocals in focus and the dynamics clear. The set is built to span his catalogue, weaving recent tracks from Pisces with earlier material and giving the songs a fresh live frame. A show centred on songwriting, pulse and a grainy, flexible voice, in the open air at Scarborough’s seaside theatre.
