Info
On November 26, 2026 at L’Athanor in Montluçon, Patrick Hernandez rekindles the disco pulse that defined the late 1970s. A French singer and producer, he presents an English-language repertoire conceived for the dancefloor, combining driving four-on-the-floor beats, immediate melodies and Euro-disco production. After stints in ballroom orchestras and a duo with Hervé Tholance, he honed his sense of groove before finding, in Waterloo, the setting that gave birth to "Born to Be Alive." Released at the end of 1978 and widely played in 1979, the track cemented his signature and led to an album of the same name.
On stage, Hernandez moves between that undeniable classic and the rest of his discography — from "Crazy Day’s Mystery Night’s" to "Good Bye" — in a straightforward, effective pop-disco vein. A few career milestones, collaborations and an undiminished stage energy complete the picture. The spirit of the ’80s arrives without restraint: elastic basslines, bright keyboards, choruses that hook you instantly. An evening designed to rediscover the taste of the dancefloor, between well-rooted memories and the desire to move here and now.
