Info
Gaëtan Roussel returns as a solo artist on 24 July 2026 to the Théâtre Jean Deschamps in Carcassonne. As the voice and pen behind Louise Attaque, he has for years pursued a personal path between chanson, pop and rock with spare arrangements. On stage he draws from his entire repertoire: revisited Louise Attaque highlights, tracks from Ginger, Orpailleur, Trafic and Est-ce que tu sais?, and new songs from Marjolaine, his sixth album. There you find his flexible spoken‑sung delivery, a taste for recurring motifs, guitars that trace the line and direct choruses, carried by lyrics that capture everyday life without grand gestures.
Having passed through Tarmac between two chapters of the band, worked as a composer for film and been the craftsman of notable collaborations (notably with Alain Bashung and Rachid Taha), Roussel has honed a songcraft that moves straight ahead without losing nuance. This concert highlights that dynamic: songs that go to the essentials, a simple and precise presence, and a way of channeling energy between moody, half‑light ballads and more urgent pulses. An evening to appreciate the through‑line of a singular career, from the collective to the intimate.
