Imminence « Summer Show 2026 »

Imminence will perform on 11 August 2026 at the Garage in Saarbrücken. The band from southern Sweden has been blending melodic metalcore, post‑hardcore and alternative rock since 2009, defined by the interplay of heavy guitars, expansive choruses and the violin playing of singer Eddie Berg. Live, this combination generates a tension between force and atmosphere, with passages that open the songs up and then intensify them again.

After early EPs and the debut I (2014), the group further sharpened its profile: more open on This Is Goodbye (2017), harder again on Turn the Light On (2019) and Heaven in Hiding (2021). With The Black (2024), symphonically tinged arrangements moved alongside the rhythmic weight, accompanied by the reworking The Reclamation of I (2024) and The Return of The Black (2025). On stage the setlist spans these phases: high‑energy tracks meet quieter, darker interludes; the violin provides contrast, leads melodies or breaks up riffs. The show encapsulates the band’s current artistic direction.
