Afrojack, the Dutch DJ and producer also known as Nick van de Wall, began releasing music in the mid-2000s and launched his own label, Wall Recordings, to release his early tracks. In 2010, “Take Over Control,” featuring Eva Simons, propelled him onto the international scene, and he went on to record studio work with David Guetta, Pitbull, Beyoncé and Ne-Yo. Between festivals in Europe and North America and club sets in Las Vegas, he refined a house-based sound: robust rhythms, progressive builds and direct melodies, crafted for the dancefloor but with a vocal sensibility close to pop. In 2014 he released the album Forget the World and has produced notable remixes recognized in Grammy circles.
Under the alias Kapuchon, Afrojack sets aside the mainstream sheen and concentrates on a rawer, more minimalist strand of house. At Space of Sound he will present that side of his work: an unadorned club set characterized by insistent grooves, dry percussion and hypnotic lines, with dynamics as the guiding principle. The event is scheduled for June 27, 2026, at Sala Lab/Wagon, Chamartín Station, Madrid, with Afrojack pres. Kapuchon as the centerpiece of the night.
