Chinese Man Records Party: Bold, Rumble, Tha Trickaz

Bold is, above all, the story of two children of Lyon’s 1990s hip‑hop scene who frequented the same parties, shops and studios without ever crossing paths. They will perform on October 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM at La Rayonne.

In the early 2000s, Supa‑Jay launched the Scratch Bandits Crew while, in parallel, High Ku helped found the Chinese Man collective.

Their paths finally crossed live, leading to S.B.C. signing with Chinese Man Records in 2015. After collaborating on the Groove Sessions 5 album and tour, the duo created Bold in 2020, in the midst of lockdown.

Their self‑titled debut album was released in 2022, sitting between trip‑hop and trap and featuring Biga*Ranx, Stogie T and CW Jones. 2026 will be the year of their new album, accompanied by a first tour with MC Youthstar on the mic.

Rumble
FR – hip‑hop / electronic world

Rumble is the meeting of precise production and intense stage presence.

LeYan and TomaPam weave hybrid textures, Skoob — the group’s on‑stage entertainer — ratchets up the tension, and SLY (Chinese Man) brings his sonic signature. On stage, the band delivers an energetic set where hip‑hop and electronic influences intersect.

Tha Trickaz

Tha Trickaz are a French electronic duo from Paris’s 18th arrondissement, composed of Pho and iRaize. Active for more than 15 years on the bass music scene, they blend trap, electro, orchestration and cinematic sonorities into a hybrid signature, equally designed for live shows and rap production.

With four albums to their name, their tracks have been used in films, TV series, video games and commercials, and their live shows have taken them on tours across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. Versatile producers, they have collaborated with artists such as Apashe, Cassius, Wax Tailor, Tha Alkaholiks, Lords of the Underground, as well as figures from the recent French rap scene: Freeze Corleone, Gazo, Ashe 22, Kaaris, Luv Resval, Frenetik, Dinos and Prince Waly.

Founders of the Otodayo Records label in 2014, they contributed to more than 400 releases totalling over 200 million streams. From their studio, Tha Trickaz handle production, recording, mixing and mastering, overseeing every step of their sonic universe.
