Hubert Félix Thiéfaine

Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine returns to Strasbourg on February 5, 2027 at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès. A singer-songwriter at the crossroads of French chanson, folk-rock, blues and electric rock, he forged his stage identity in the cabarets of the Left Bank before establishing a singular universe: songs he writes himself, marked by oblique imagery, irony and literary nods. From Tout corps vivant branché sur le secteur étant appelé à s’émouvoir to the rock turn of Dernières balises (avant mutation), Soleil cherche futur, Alambic / Sortie Sud and Météo für nada, then Chroniques bluesymentales and Fragments d’hébétude—recorded on both sides of the Atlantic—through Suppléments de mensonge, Stratégie de l’inespoir and Géographie du vide, his repertoire has expanded without losing its bearings. On stage, Thiéfaine alternates electric intensity with more stripped-down interludes, in a well-honed format that moves between large halls and unplugged sequences. In Strasbourg, he revisits these years of songwriting, between signature tracks and recent pieces.
