MICO

MICO plays the Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton on July 21, 2026. Also known as Miguel Veloso, the Canadian indie-pop singer built his path from the internet up, first catching ears at 16 with live performances on Discord and Twitch. That start grew into a tight-knit community and serious streaming traction, with tracks like cut my hair, HOMESICK, TV and Senses sketching out his blend of confessional lyrics, sharp hooks and post-internet energy.

In 2024 he honed that approach on his fifth EP, Internet home town hero, a project that pushed his writing into more intimate territory while leaning into sleek, digital pop textures. The following year marked a new chapter with a global run of dates, support slots for Nightly, a stop at Lollapalooza Berlin and a deluxe edition of the EP. On stage, MICO brings the same directness and melodic precision that fueled his rise, moving between close-to-the-bone storytelling and punchy choruses. Expect a set that threads early favorites with newer cuts, carried by a candid voice and a sound wired for the present.
