Ravagers

Messy, but sharp. Dangerous, but impulsive. You want to be part of it, but you understand the risks and the repercussions immediately. Here is a band that does not smile, it snarls. It does not sing, it sneers. These musicians, moreover, play well. They don’t entertain their audience so much as absorb it.

For more than a decade, guitarist and vocalist Alex Hagen has written punk rock songs and tracks that reach both young listeners and figures from the past. Combining hard rock, ’77 punk and stadium-rock guitar hooks, and featuring lead guitarist Matt Gabs (formerly of Fishnet Stalkers and The Biters), the band follows its own path.

Making its way through numerous tours across the United States and Europe, Ravagers has shared stages and toured with bands such as The Damned, Michael Monroe, The Adicts, Fear and Supersuckers.

The band’s two LPs, "Badlands" (2022) and "On the Loose" (2025), fuse ’77 punk and hard rock with the macabre dark-wave sound Stiv pursued in The Lords of the New Church.

With the rhythm section of Ray Peters and Sam Hariss, Ravagers blends Motörhead’s force with the melodic hooks of Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper and Turbonegro, and performs at Estraperlo on June 18, 2026 at 18:30.
