Info

Dream, Ivory play The Grand Social in Dublin on 4 June 2026. The American indie rock duo, formed by brothers Christian and Louie Baello from Orange County, moves between dream pop, shoegaze and bedroom pop with a taste for concise, melody-driven songwriting. First noticed online in the late 2010s, they shaped a sound built on saturated guitars, reverb-wrapped vocals and a melancholic tint that never drifts too far from clear structures.

Over time, their writing grew denser. The lo-fi edges gave way to thicker guitar textures, firmer bass lines and slowcore-leaning tempos, with traces of alternative pop in the arrangements. Their 2022 album About A Boy marks this shift, bringing more space for detail and a more personal narrative thread.

On stage, Dream, Ivory expand into a fuller lineup to translate the studio layers. The set moves between hazy, floating passages and grounded, guitar-led sections, with vocals slightly set back in the mix and dynamics doing the heavy lifting. For this Dublin date, the duo draw from About A Boy as well as earlier tracks that sketched their beginnings, charting a path from bedroom origins to a more crafted live sound.
