Info
On 9 October 2026 at Whelan's in Dublin, The Bluetones bring their melodic britpop roots alongside new material from Atlas. Formed in Hounslow in 1993, the band features Mark Morriss (vocals), Adam Devlin (guitar), Scott Morriss (bass) and Eds Chesters (drums). Emerging with the britpop wave, they shaped a softer, tuneful mix of indie rock, jangle pop and indie pop: clear guitars, concise choruses and writing that balances pop efficiency with a light shade of melancholy. Their first run set the tone, from Expecting to Fly (1996) to Return to the Last Chance Saloon (1998) and Science & Nature (2000), then Luxembourg (2003), The Bluetones (2006) and A New Athens (2010). After a split in 2011 and a 2015 reunion, the group kept touring around the UK and Europe. In 2026, they extend the catalogue with Atlas, adding fresh songs to a setlist that spans three decades.
