Info
Jeff Tweedy brings his songs to Dublin for an evening at The Ambassador Theatre on 17 November 2026. Co-founder and voice of Wilco after his early years with Uncle Tupelo, Tweedy has spent three decades writing between folk, indie rock and a stripped-back americana. In solo performance he pares things down to guitar and voice, revisiting Wilco titles and drawing from Together at Last, Warm, Warmer and Love Is the King. The set leans on quiet dynamics, steady fingerpicking and lyrics that stand on their own without a full band. On stage he often opens windows on the songs, sharing how they were written or how they changed over time, keeping a direct line with the room. Long based in Chicago, he brings traces of his collaborations there and of his production work with Mavis Staples, heard in the phrasing and relaxed cadence of the show. An occasion to hear his songwriting up close, in a simple, focused frame.
