Under the banner Igår. Idag. Imorgon. 70 år., Sven-Ingvars marks seven decades on stage. Founded in Slottsbron in 1956, the band first rode the wave of rock’n’roll and pop before settling into Sweden’s dansband scene, mixing Swedish-language dance songs with rock-tinged arrangements. The set draws on a catalogue that includes Te’ dans me’ Karlstatösera, Fröken Fräken, Börja om från början and Vid din sida, titles that traced their path across generations. In 1963, at a Karlstad concert, the Beatles played before them, a story still linked to the group’s history. After the passing of singer Sven-Erik Magnusson in 2017, his son Oscar Magnusson took up the vocals, keeping the balance between pop, rock and the Swedish dance tradition. On 28 November 2026 at Scalateatern in Karlstad, the band revisits yesterday, today and tomorrow of its sound with the current lineup.
