Fury In The Slaughterhouse

Fury in the Slaughterhouse will perform at the Lüneburger Kultursommer in Lüneburg on 31 July 2026. Founded in 1987 in Hanover by brothers Kai and Thorsten Wingenfelder, the band is known for guitar-driven alternative and pop rock with catchy melodies and English lyrics—somewhere between US college rock and British influences. Their early albums laid the foundation of their sound; later productions became more detailed without losing their straightforward edge. Live, they mix energetic numbers with slower tracks and maintain a balance between intensity and calm.

Alongside the Wingenfelder brothers are Rainer Schumann on drums, Christof Stein-Schneider on guitar and Christian Decker on bass. After a hiatus, the band returned in 2021 with the album NOW and has since been drawing on their repertoire on stage, supplemented by new material. In Lüneburg, expect a set that brings together their various phases: driving riffs, clear hooks and lyrics that touch on personal and societal themes—compact, precise, and unadorned.
