Lilyisthatyou

On 26 September 2026 Lilyisthatyou plays at the Cirque Royal in Brussels. Behind that name is Toronto-born Lily Davies, who recorded her first songs in her bedroom before returning to Canada in 2020 to develop her project. She emerged in the early 2020s with FMRN, produced with Caleb Jacob: direct pop that doesn’t shy away from its themes, from desire and shame to addiction and power dynamics. Musically she navigates between alternative pop, synth-pop and pop rock, with open choruses and straightforward rhythms.

Live she foregrounds the friction between light melodies and heavier subjects. Party 22, Purity and Moderation form the backbone of a set that shifts between nervous confessions and hooks that stay in your head. Short formats and internet reflexes are in her DNA, but the focus remains on her voice and compact, autobiographical songwriting. A show for anyone who wants pop that tells it like it is, without detours and with enough momentum to get the body moving.
