Eivør

Eivør, a singer and songwriter from the Faroe Islands, will be at L’Olympia in Paris on Saturday, 6 March 2027. A singular voice on the Nordic scene, she draws on the archipelago’s tradition of communal singing and blends folk, cinematic songwriting and contemporary production. Across eleven albums she has built a shifting repertoire in Faroese, English and Icelandic, with arrangements that merge organic percussion, soft, muted guitars and electronic textures. She also composes for visual media — from the series The Last Kingdom to the game God of War — an experience that permeates her atmospheres and their sense of depth and dimensionality. On stage her music unfolds in a very physical way, between tension, breath and long, immersive build-ups, carried by a full-bodied voice and contrasting dynamics.

Opening the evening, Rabbitology, the project of Nat Timmerman, creates eclectic and whimsical soundscapes, between undulating melodic motifs and mutating textures, in counterpoint to the journey proposed by Eivør.
