On July 17, 2026, Z51 Fest opens at the Tanzmatten in Sélestat, with the opening night marked by crossovers. Théa, a singer-songwriter-producer born in 2001, blends emo-core, pop-punk and hyperpop into confrontational tracks where anger and vulnerability answer one another. In a similar vein, Changeline pushes hyperpop toward a raw, punk terrain, with unfiltered lyrics and saturated beats. On the rap side, Svinkels Family & Friends bring back the biting lyricism and subversive twists that have defined the group, while Pierre Hugues José offers sharp writing, wry humour and a socially aware perspective.
The machines then take over with La P’tite Fumée and its instrumental trance carried by didgeridoo, flutes and percussion, followed by Grayssoker who plugs the accordion into techno, dub and trance for an improvised live set. DJ Pone, a decks champion and member of Birdy Nam Nam, delivers a precise, nervy set that moves between hip-hop and club. DJ Cam shifts abstract hip-hop into downtempo atmospheres with jazz overtones. Naeko and Bonks complete the bill, combining new faces with strong stage energy.
