Here are Anvil’s words about the Pounding the Past European tour: we’re doing it because the opportunity presented itself. The timing is right to perform songs from our first three albums. We are between albums, which gives us the freedom to celebrate the past.
In September 2026 we will record our 21st studio album in Germany, followed by the Pounding the Past tour from October to December 2026, accompanied by our friends Killer from Belgium. Anvil will play only material from its first three albums: Hard ’n’ Heavy, Metal on Metal, Forged in Fire.
