Bleachers

Bleachers will play on 7 November 2026 at the TonHalle Munich. The project is led by Jack Antonoff, who often constructs his songs like small rooms of memory. On the fifth album, the track “We Should Talk” marks a pivotal moment: a song about rediscovering old friendships and about his beginnings between New Jersey and the punk underground. As a teenager he toured with Outline from community center to community center, booking shows in a DIY spirit and learning what holds a band together on stage. Later came Steel Train and endless tours—and the certainty that he loves life on the road.

This story is at the heart of Bleachers: indie-pop with a rock edge, synths and a dash of ’80s, but live with a full-bodied sound—horns, choirs, dense arrangements. On stage, the big choruses of the newer records meet the rougher edges of his past; echoes of Heartland rock and intimate ballads alternate with songs that push forward. In Munich, Antonoff brings this tension to the stage with his band—personal, direct, and made for swaying and singing along together.
