As part of the Ex Tenebris Lux festival — Act VII, Messa (atmospheric doom metal — IT) + guests will perform on 30 October 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Maison des Chœurs.
Across their albums, Messa has developed a style sometimes nicknamed “scarlet doom”: a dark form of doom metal influenced by metal, jazz, blues, progressive rock, ambient, Mediterranean folk and sonic experimentation, featuring Sara’s vocals.
Their latest album, The Spin (2025), released on Metal Blade Records, blends doom, 1980s goth rock and progressive textures.
