Jean-Michel Jarre X Poney Club 2026

On 16 July 2026, Jean‑Michel Jarre takes over the Poney Club at Toulouse‑Blagnac Airport (Blagnac) for an immersive live performance that marks his return to Toulouse seventeen years after his last concert. A pioneering figure of French electronic music who came through Pierre Schaeffer’s Groupe de recherches musicales, Jarre defined as early as the 1970s a distinctive musical language of sweeping synth layers, repetitive motifs and clear melodies. From Oxygène and Équinoxe to Les Chants Magnétiques, his records established an instrumental compositional style at once ethereal and precise, continued in the 1980s and 90s with Zoolook, Rendez‑Vous and Chronologie, as well as through urban shows where music engages in dialogue with image and light.

Since the 2000s, with Métamorphoses and then Electronica, he has multiplied collaborations and pushed immersive formats, from multichannel sound to virtual reality. On stage at the Poney Club, expect a set conceived for the space, where analog textures and digital tools answer one another, where revisited classics intersect with recent pieces, all carried by striking visual staging and enveloping sound diffusion.
