Adèle Castillon

At La Cartonnerie in Reims on January 9, 2027, Adèle Castillon moves from pixels to the stage with a set built around her debut album. After Videoclub — the Nantes electro-pop duo steeped in ’80s nostalgia — she continues solo with a more direct songwriting: a first breakup, emotional dependency, addictions, told without artifice and carried by immediate, hooky melodies.

Surrounded in the studio by Surkin, she draws from a palette where French pop meets electro and new wave, between airy synths, rounded basslines and tightly wound rhythms. The nods range from Taxi Girl to Chromatics, with a contemporary sensibility that acknowledges both Billie Eilish and Tame Impala. On stage, Adèle retains a love of DIY and an unvarnished energy: clear vocals, crisp choruses, atmospheres that oscillate between nocturnal melancholy and bright momentum. One can hear the echo of the aesthetic born in the Videoclub era, but shifted toward a more intimate and personal narrative, conceived as much for the stage as for pop confession.
