Mathieu Madénian returns with a new show that looks at current events at human scale — from the perspective of a man whose life has been genuinely upended by the arrival of a baby. On stage he doesn’t play the model dad: he talks about broken nights, a succession of diaper changes, the doubts that creep in at feeding time, and the little joys that arrive when your schedule implodes. His playground is the present — the news as it happens and a life that moves too fast — but filtered through the eyes of a new father. You’ll find his dry wit, a self-deprecating edge that just grates enough, and his knack for capturing a mundane detail to reveal the bigger picture, from the couple to society, from the stroller to a world losing its footing.
