Info
On July 24, 2026, Calogero takes over the Abbey of Luxeuil in Luxeuil-les-Bains for an intimate, human-scale concert. After performing in Zéniths and arenas, he returns to more intimate settings and offers a selection of chosen pieces drawn from his entire repertoire and rearranged for the occasion.
A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he alternates between bass, guitar and keyboards, supported by Cyrille Nobilet and Jan Pham Huu Tri, who are also multi-instrumentalists. The trio plays with textures and dynamics: bass lines, synth pads, more acoustic guitars, understated percussion, creating fresh versions that revisit the contours of songs we know well.
From “En apesanteur” to “Si seulement je pouvais lui manquer,” including “Face à la mer,” “Le Portrait” and “Je joue de la musique,” the thread runs through the years without heavy-handed nostalgia, with particular attention paid to the arrangements. In the cloister, the focus shifts to the voice and the songwriting, between intimate confidences, pop-rock pulses and more pared-down moments. An evening in which Calogero’s path is rewritten live, as close as possible to the songs.
