Info
Palace brings its London-bred alt rock to MTELUS in Montréal on November 8, 2026. Formed in 2012, the band shapes indie-leaning songs with supple guitars, hushed vocals and a melancholy edge, building tension through textures and patient shifts in intensity. Centered around Leo Wyndham with Rupert Turner, Matt Hodges and Harry Deacon, their writing has evolved from early EPs Lost in the Night and Chase the Light to the albums So Long Forever, Life After, Shoals and 2024’s Ultrasound, with detours via The Hoxa Sessions and Someday, Somewhere, plus the twin 2023 releases Part I – When Everything Was Lost and Part II – Nightmares & Ice Cream.
On stage, Palace stretches the material with roomy arrangements and steady crescendos, favoring clarity over flash. The set in Montréal draws across their catalogue, threading close, intimate passages and heavier swells, the guitars weaving around Wyndham’s restrained delivery. After slots at Glastonbury and Coachella, the group brings that live experience to a club-stage format tailored to their dynamics.
