Blacklist Festival 2026

Blacklist Festival 2026 brings bass culture back to the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen on 9 and 10 October 2026. At the center is Eptic, the Belgian dubstep producer and DJ, who builds his sets around clearly structured drops, compact sound design and powerful basslines. His signature blends dubstep with riddim and trap nuances, makes extensive use of switch-ups and keeps the tempo flexible without losing momentum. Onstage he relies on dense transitions, striking leads and precise percussion; vocals appear more as short hooks so the low end can breathe. Typical for him are clever edits, double drops and transitions that maintain tension rather than relying on pure effect. The result is a set that translates cleanly on large systems, with defined low-end contours and enough space for dynamic breaks. At Blacklist Festival Eptic will showcase precisely this balance of raw energy and controlled production — a focus on groove, texture and timing that suits the darker spectrum Blacklist is known for.
