Worn-Out

Worn-Out will take place on 16 May 2026 at Climax Institutes, featuring Tresor resident Mareena and Lukas Stern from the Lehmann Club.

Mareena’s connection to electronic music began in her youth in East Germany, where she witnessed the rise of techno. Raised in the youth club culture and at underground parties in abandoned buildings, she was shaped by the freedom-oriented spirit of the post‑communist era. In 2004 she moved to Berlin and began DJing; the city’s club scene shaped her artistic outlook. Her musical roots lie in dub techno and early‑2000s techno. She has developed a sound marked by rhythmic, vibrant and non‑linear beats. Her vinyl-focused sets blend hard and elegant elements and have led to performances at clubs such as Berghain, De School, Faust Seoul and Bunker New York. Since 2012 she has been a resident DJ at Berlin’s Tresor. She will play a five‑hour vinyl‑only set.
