Originally from Tembisa, he forges a clear bridge between afro house and afro tech, crafting deep grooves, foreground percussion and pared-back melodies. His sets progress in stages, designed for duration, with a rhythmic tension that builds without unnecessary effects. Between African electronic roots and a refined global vision honed through projects like KUNYE, he creates a hypnotic atmosphere where continuity prevails, transitions breathe and the dancefloor keeps moving.
Damian Lazarus is also on the bill for this closing. London-born and now based in the United States, founder of Crosstown Rebels, he moves between house, techno and psychedelic textures with a taste for unexpected detours. His experience as a digger and resident informs selections that play on balance: dry bass, minimal details, slow builds and calculated breaks. Alongside Shimza, the night reads as a dialogue of timbres and rhythms—between earthen pulses and restrained melodic lines—crafted for the club and for mental projection, framed by Pacha Ibiza.
