Stig Rossen - Årets Julekoncert 2026 (ekstrakoncert)

Stig Rossen brings Årets Julekoncert 2026 back for an extra date at Falkoner Salen in Frederiksberg on 12 December 2026. The Danish singer and actor has long navigated between musical theatre and pop. After early years in Copenhagen, he moved to London and joined Les Misérables in the West End, first in the ensemble then as Jean Valjean. Since returning to Denmark, he alternates solo work and stage roles, with a repertoire spanning show tunes, melodic pop, standards and ballads, and a substantial collection of Christmas songs in Danish and English.

This concert draws on that holiday repertoire. Rossen brings carols and seasonal ballads alongside pieces shaped by his theatre background and years on tour. On stage he adapts to large orchestras as well as smaller groups, keeping the material at the centre. His voice is also familiar from film dubbing, including the Danish version of Disney’s The Lion King, a thread that places him firmly in the country’s musical landscape.
