Søren Huss returns to the stage in a format that suits his songs: close, acoustic and without fuss. Known as the voice of Saybia and later as a Danish-language singer-songwriter, he has made his mark with melodies rooted in piano and guitar and lyrics that revolve around relationships, loss and everyday life. At the concert at Marienlyst Strandhotel in Helsingør on 2 April 2027, one can expect a selection from his solo albums Troen & Ingen, Opkald fra mig selv and Midtlivsvisen, side by side with songs from his Saybia years, delivered with the quiet intensity that characterises his voice.
Huss’s world is simple and intimate: melodies, space for the pauses and a Danish tone that carries the stories without grand gestures. It is music that invites listening rather than overpowering, finding its strength in the detail. A format well suited to an evening in which the songs are allowed to stand out and set the mood.
