Roméo & Juliette

On 27 February 2028 at 2:00 PM at the Zénith de Dijon, Roméo & Juliette returns to the stage. The production has brought together more than 11 million spectators worldwide. Translated into 18 languages and performed in 20 countries, it premiered in 2001 at the Palais des Congrès, where it drew nearly 2.5 million spectators.

The duo Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara, present from the very beginning, are back. Twenty years after their first appearances in these roles, they return to Roméo and Juliette.

With over 9 million records sold and songs such as Les Rois du monde and Aimer, Roméo & Juliette has left its mark on the history of musical theatre. Over the years, the production has incorporated new techniques and stage conventions while preserving its songs and identity.

For Gérard Presgurvic, Roméo & Juliette raises a question that remains relevant: how far are we willing to go for love?

This reimagined version features a new cast, new costumes and a new stage design, conceived for today.
