French 79 takes over the Arkea Arena in Floirac on April 16, 2027. Behind that name, Marseillais Simon Henner unfolds a melodic electronic sound that blends synth-pop, slow house, motorik pulse and cinematic atmospheres, with tracks often instrumental but conceived as songs. On stage, his set plays on contrasts: layers of keyboards that settle in, interlocking arpeggiators, gradual builds, sharp breaks and basslines that keep the trajectory. It’s a clear, progressive writing in which each layer finds its place, balancing rhythmic precision and a keen sense of arrangement.

From “Olympic” to “Joshua,” then “Teenagers,” his repertoire traces a continuous line, from the ethereal to the upfront, without losing the melodic thread. Comfortable bridging the concert format and club energy, French 79 thinks of the live show as a movement: a progression that carries you along, without excess, with careful attention to sound and texture.
