French 79

French 79, aka Simon Henner, arrives in Toulouse with a live show conceived as a melodic, organic electronic journey. On stage he unfolds layers of synths, bright arpeggios and clear pulses, somewhere between synth-pop, slow house and cinematic atmospheres. His repertoire draws on Olympic, Joshua and Teenagers, and effortlessly shifts from a concert format toward a more club-like energy, while remaining focused on melody and progression.

In recent years, the Marseille-based artist has moved his studio outdoors, tinkering with a modular synth packed into a suitcase to compose in the open air. This nomadic, more physical approach now feeds his set: analog textures with a tangible grain, gradual builds, a sometimes motorik pulse, precise drums, and a few unreleased tracks shaped on the move. The experience plays on tension and release, layer upon layer, until it reaches the balance point where the music compels the body to move.

French 79 will perform on 26 March 2027 at Zénith Toulouse Métropole in Toulouse.
