Parra for Cuva

Parra for Cuva is the project of Berlin-based German producer Nicolas Demuth, known for a melodic electronic sound at the crossroads of deep house, downtempo and ambient. Since the early 2010s, he has shaped a palette of supple rhythms, delicate textures and patient harmonies, from the early attention around Wicked Games with Anna Naklab to a run of records that refined his identity. Majouré set the foundations, followed by the collaborative Darwīš with Senoy, then Paspatou and Juno, where repeating piano figures, processed guitars and traces of global influences drive a more narrative electronica. Mimose (2023) continues this blend, sliding between house-informed structures and cinematic ambient with a subtle neo-classical touch. On stage, Parra for Cuva builds long arcs and breathable grooves, reworking pieces into extended versions and leaving room for improvisation between controllers, keys and understated percussion. He brings this live craft to Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver on November 2, 2026.
