Info
Franco-Egyptian singer-songwriter Joseph Kamel traces a line between chanson française and pop with folk inflections, marked by a distinctive voice and a strong sense of storytelling. On March 12, 2027 at the Théâtre Femina in Bordeaux, he will present a repertoire shaped by his debut album Miroirs (2023), certified gold, and opening onto a second album announced by the single “Crash.” The program will feature “Celui qui part,” “Beau” (with Julien Doré) and “Ton regard,” alongside new material that extends his recurring themes: identity, relationships, intimate stories. With guitar front and center, spare arrangements and careful attention to words, Joseph Kamel performs within his vocal register, offering direct, narrative songs. Bolstered by solid live experience, he establishes a simple, precise atmosphere in which each piece breathes without excess. Between anchor tracks and unreleased pieces, this concert highlights his way of sustaining emotion through writing and melody, while sketching the continuation hinted at by “Crash.”
