Fink

Fink is playing at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) on 2 November 2026. Behind the name is Fin Greenall, born in Cornwall, who first explored downtempo and trip-hop textures at Ninja Tune before steering his songwriting toward an acoustic, guitar-and-voice-centred folk‑blues. Since Biscuits for Breakfast the project has taken the form of a trio with bass and drums: a setting that produces a taut yet stripped-back interplay, recurring motifs and a subdued soul. Distance and Time, Sort of Revolution, Perfect Darkness, Hard Believer, Resurgam and Bloom Innocent punctuate this trajectory, where the acoustic still converses with electronics in the background. Fink also likes to move the dial, as the orchestral interlude with the Royal Concertgebouw showed, while writing for others as well. On stage this clear line asserts itself: a tight trio, an intimate vocal, guitars in cyclical patterns and a narration kept very close.
