Guus Meeuwis and BLØF will share the stage at Live on the Beach on 3 September 2026 at Scheveningen Noorderstrand in The Hague. Two strong names from Dutch-language pop whose repertoires complement each other beautifully: clear melodies, familiar stories and songs that carry you effortlessly from acoustic intimacy to full-band dynamics — just right for an evening on the beach.
BLØF bring their Dutch-language pop-rock with the mix of guitars and warm keyboards they have been known for since the 1990s. Songs like “Liefs uit Londen,” “Omarm” and “Zoutelande” demonstrate how narrative lyrics and tight arrangements come together. Sometimes restrained, sometimes more forceful, always attentive to melody and ensemble playing. On the beach their sound gains an extra layer, close to the sea that so many of their songs refer to.
Guus Meeuwis fits in smoothly with pop songs that revolve around everyday life, open choruses and an acoustic core. From “Het is een nacht” to “Hemel nr. 7” and “Armen open”: compact hooks, plainspoken lyrics and exactly that tone that works instantly live.
