The Fonky March Festival returns for its 3rd edition on April 24 and 25, 2026, at La Friche la Belle de Mai and Cabaret Aléatoire in Marseille. Presented by Soprano, the event showcases 100% Marseille rap, blending historical figures with new voices. DJ Djel (Fonky Family) oversees the whole program, K-Méléon handles the hosting, and the format mixes concerts with hip‑hop disciplines, including a live graffiti session, a break contest, and a beatmakers competition.
On stage, the lineup brings together Missan, whose city‑rooted writing echoes everyday life in Marseille, and La Garde, the joint project of Shurik’N and Faf Larage, a natural bridge between the IAM legacy and a more contemporary aesthetic. Alongside them, Carpe Diem, Dilome, Sako, Kyzi, L’Amir’al, Berreta, Maze, Derk16, Sirine LV, Zbig, Zicler, Toadzzy, Misa, Fokca and Benefils offer a broad portrait of the Phocaean city, from neighborhood stories to more technical flows. Behind the machines and on the turntables, DJ Rebel, Idazerrr, Creestal and Kayla set the tempo with selections, productions and stage‑ready transitions. Two days conceived as a moving snapshot of Marseille hip‑hop, driven by those who built it and those who are reinventing it.
