The White Buffalo: Canada 2026

The White Buffalo brings his story-first songwriting to Broom Factory in Kingston, ON on October 1, 2026. Behind the moniker is Jake Smith, Oregon-born and raised in Southern California, active under this name since the mid-2000s. His songs move between folk, americana, shadowy country and a lean, electric rock, carried by a low, grainy voice and lyrics that circle the road, ordinary violence, loss and a shot at redemption.

First rooted in the U.S. indie circuit, he reached a wider audience with tracks placed in series such as Sons of Anarchy, where his acoustic, narrative approach found a natural echo. On record, he has traced a steady path: Once Upon a Time in the West (2012), Shadows, Greys & Evil Ways (2013), Love and the Death of Damnation (2015), Darkest Darks, Lightest Lights (2017), On the Widow’s Walk (2020) and Year of the Dark Horse (2022). Live, the set shifts from hushed ballads to blues tension and wiry rock, in solo moments or backed by a tight band, with special guests joining for the night.
