Info
Jinjer brings the Duel North America 2026 tour to the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver on July 9, 2026. Formed in Donetsk and now based in Kyiv, the quartet of Tatiana Shmayluk (vocals), Roman Ibramkhalilov (guitar), Eugene Abdukhanov (bass) and Vladislav Ulasevich (drums) blends metalcore, groove and progressive impulses. On stage, their sound leans on syncopated riffs, sharp time changes and the switch between clean vocals and growls. From early releases like Inhale, Don’t Breathe and Cloud Factory to King of Everything, Macro and Wallflowers, the band has shaped a darker, more technical writing where the rhythm section sets the tone. Their live path runs from Eastern European clubs to international festival stages, captured on Alive in Melbourne, while recent tours keep a steady thread between events back home and themes in their lyrics.
Also on the bill, Crystal Lake from Japan channels 90s hardcore through a metalcore lens, balancing tight breakdowns with melodic turns. They have shared stages with Parkway Drive, Hatebreed and The Ghost Inside, and toured Europe in 2019 around the album Helix, including a sold-out stop at La Boule Noire. Expect a set that moves from abrasive riffs to atmospheric passages with a clear sense of momentum.
