Info
Chiodos headline The Palace Theatre in Calgary, AB on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Formed in 2001 in Michigan, the band carved out a post-hardcore sound that balances tension and release: screamo-leaning bursts, emo-tinged melodies, piano accents and sharp dynamic shifts. Their catalog moves from All’s Well That Ends Well (2005) to Bone Palace Ballet (2007), through the Bolmer era on Illuminaudio (2010) and back to Craig Owens with Devil (2014). On stage, they play that contrast full-on, letting angular riffs and clear choruses collide without tipping into straight metal.
Calva Louise open a different front. Born on London’s underground circuit and led by Jess Allanic, the group blends alternative rock, post-hardcore urgency, punk snap, metal-leaning riffs and electronic textures. Their writing flips from direct hooks to more abrasive sequences, and their DIY streak shows in Over The Threshold (2023), a self-produced mixtape paired with in-house visuals that mirror their dense, cinematic sound.
156/Silence and sace6 round out the lineup, setting the scene before Chiodos take over.
