Skin On Skin touches down at Fortune Sound Club on May 23, 2026 for a set that sits at the junction of techno, house and rap-rooted club music. The Australian producer and DJ, of South Sudanese heritage, broke through with a 2019 debut on Steel City Dance Discs and has since shaped a signature built on slow-but-punchy drums, heavy basslines and chopped spoken or rapped vocals. In the booth he slips from shadowy four-to-the-floor into trap-tinged breaks and lo-fi textures, letting pressure build before flipping into rugged, rolling grooves. Tempos shift, percussion stays upfront, and the low end does the lifting. Returning to Vancouver, he brings fresh material, edits and collaborations from recent tours alongside the tracks that made those early EPs stand out. A focused approach on rhythm and drive, tailored for a club system and a crowd that wants to lock in.
