On 25 July 2026 Verknipt returns to the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen — with a line-up that concentrates the harder edges of today’s club sound. At the core are artists who write their tracks specifically for large sound systems and, in the mix, consistently push tempo, impact and short hooks to the limit.

Restricted from Melbourne shifts the axis between Tech House, Bass House and UK Garage: rolling basslines, pitched vocals, quick transitions — built entirely for impact. From the Netherlands, Vieze Asbak brings a raw rave edge: fast techno and hardcore rhythms, distorted breaks and abrupt tempo changes.

Berlin’s Nicolas Julian relies on a blend of Hard Techno, Hard Trance and Hard Groove. Tight drums, concise vocal motifs and straightforward builds, as heard on his club singles “Jump Dance Move Bounce,” “Bad Girls” and “303 (Sound Of The Underground).” Ireland’s Luciid navigates between electro, techno and rave aesthetics: high BPMs, precise basslines and acid-tinged leads.

Paraçek from Dresden crosses Hard Dance, Trance and Acid Techno with melodic hardness and punchy tempos; releases like “Tesla” and “DJ DJ” define his approach. SLVL, aka Senseless Violence, delivers industrial hard techno with a massive kick focus — “The Last Airbender (VIP)” is exemplary of his sustained tension.

Also on the bill: KLOFAMA, Ben Techy, Nyra, Obscure Shape, Tanja Miju and TASSERY — a line-up that intensifies the night seamlessly and keeps the dancefloors moving.
