K+D KICKS 30

K&D KICKS 30 is the current live show by Kruder & Dorfmeister: not a retrospective, but a continuation of their DJ-Kicks chapter in the present. The Viennese duo, active since the 1990s and working between trip-hop, dub, slow breakbeats and nods to jazz, translates its understanding of sound into a DJ/AV performance in which music and visuals interlock. Deep bass, spatial depth, loop aesthetics and precise transitions form an arc of tension that prioritises rhythm and flow and mirrors the physical logic of a club night.

Known for their DJ-Kicks release and The K&D Sessions, and through related projects such as Peace Orchestra and Tosca, Kruder & Dorfmeister bring three decades of experience to the stage as something alive: curated, reconfigured and forward-looking in both sound and visuals. K&D KICKS 30 presents itself as a journey that slowly warms the dancefloor, layers dynamics and sustains energy rather than overstretching it.

On 23 April 2026 the duo will perform K&D KICKS 30 at Große Freiheit 36 in Hamburg.
