Amina, Honey Dijon

On April 4, 2026, Essaim / Main Room in Paris welcomes Honey Dijon alongside Amina. Originally from Chicago, Honey Dijon draws on her city’s house heritage while blending techno, disco and soul influences. Trained between Chicago and New York, she sharpened her craft in clubs such as Smartbar and Panorama Bar, developing a sense of groove and vocality nourished by queer and ballroom cultures. Active behind the decks since the late 1990s, she turned to production with The Best of Both Worlds in 2017 on Classic Music Company, an album threaded with collaborations from house, R&B and hip‑hop. In 2022, Black Girl Magic pushed that vocal, dancefloor orientation further, drawing on soul, funk and New York club culture. Between New York and Berlin, her sets move naturally across eras and textures, conceived for the room and the moment.

Amina completes the bill and engages with this house and club universe, shaping what promises to be a dense, coherent night at Essaim, between sharp selections and dancefloor energy.
