Horsegirl, the New York-via-Chicago trio of friends Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein and Gigi Reece, play Dabadaba on 10 August 2026 at 18h00. They have released their second album, "Phonetics On and On," via Matador Records. Produced by Cate Le Bon and recorded at The Loft in Chicago (the band's original home), "Phonetics On and On" explores the lines between pop, minimalism and playful experimentation.
Horsegirl write with honesty, evoking scenes of girlhood and youth. These are moments of their lives. This bond is present in "Phonetics On and On," as tenderness moves across the recording.
