Celtic Legends

Celtic Legends celebrates its 25th anniversary and returns to the stage with a new production, to be seen on 25 February 2027 at the Zénith Limoges Métropole in Limoges. Performed by a company of dancers, musicians and singers, the show dives into the heart of Irish traditions: precise footwork, ensemble choreographies and solos that respond live to themes played by an acoustic band.

Conceived by choreographer Jacintha Sharpe, the dance sequences are built around entirely live music, directed by Sean McCarthy. Five instrumentalists present a repertoire of reels, jigs and ballads, featuring the timbres of the uilleann pipes, penny whistle, fiddle, bodhrán and guitar. The dialogue between percussive footwork and the pulse of the arrangements shapes Celtic Legends’ stage identity.

For two hours, this anniversary tour showcases the DNA of a project born on the road, balancing rhythmic precision with more melodic passages—all performed live, close to Irish tradition.
