Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine « Des Adieux .../... »

Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine is passing through Courbevoie with his Des Adieux tour. A songwriter and composer born in the Jura, he has made his mark since the 1970s with a highly recognisable style of writing, nourished by oblique imagery, irony and literary references. Initially rooted in the folk vein, he gradually moved toward a more electric rock, situated between French chanson, folk-rock and blues. Milestones such as Dernières balises (avant mutation), Soleil cherche futur, Alambic / Sortie Sud and Météo für nada charted this evolution, later extended by recordings in New York and Los Angeles and by Géographie du vide in 2021.

On stage, Thiéfaine has long alternated between large ensembles and more stripped-back formats, as recalled by his Unplugged and Replugged tours. On 23 January 2027 at the Courbevoie Event Center, he revisits a repertoire that spans several decades, from songs shaped by the 1980s to his most recent work, with that way of letting words and guitars circulate without overstating the case. An evening conceived around his lyrics and arrangements, designed to take the measure of a career that has become influential while keeping its course.
