Covertramp « Hommage à Supertramp »

On 24 October 2026 at the Pin Galant in Mérignac, Covertramp revisits the repertoire of Supertramp. This project brings together six musicians around the classics of the 1970s and early 1980s, at the crossroads of melodic pop-rock and the progressive rock that defined its era. On stage, the set unfolds like a journey lasting nearly two hours, with some twenty songs played back-to-back: Breakfast in America, School, Goodbye Stranger, It’s Raining Again, as well as lesser-known pieces from the original catalogue.

Covertramp works closely on the sounds and arrangements to recreate the atmosphere of the period versions, paying careful attention to nuances, the group’s dynamics and the balance between instrumental passages and more intimate moments. The concert appeals equally to those who know Supertramp by heart and to curious listeners discovering this repertoire live, with an emphasis on the melodic and narrative dimension of these compositions.
