Xzibit « The Kingmaker Tour »

On June 13, 2026, at the Rockstore in Montpellier, Xzibit arrives with The Kingmaker Tour, backed by Furnace Band for a live-band set. Born in Detroit and shaped between Albuquerque and Los Angeles, the MC made his mark on the West Coast movement through the underground scene and the Likwit Crew, before opening up to Californian connections around Dr. Dre. His career includes At the Speed of Life and 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz, followed by Restless, Man vs. Machine and Weapons of Mass Destruction, and later Full Circle and Napalm. On stage, his deep voice and blunt writing combine storytelling, everyday chronicle and g-funk grooves.

With Furnace Band, his classics take on greater depth: taut, driving drums, prominent basslines and arrangements that revisit the catalogue without distorting it. Between signature tracks, more recent songs and nods to the West Coast, Xzibit unfolds a live version of his universe, conceived for stage dynamics. Still active in the studio, on tour and in audiovisual projects, he here confirms his roots in Californian hip-hop heritage, in a band format, for an evening that places West Coast rap front and center.
